  Marriage certificate can be obtained without changing household registration. The law does not stipulate that after marriage, the household registration must be transferred to the male or female party's home. Generally, it is decided independently based on the wishes of the parties involved.
  Article 13 of the Household Registration Regulations
  Citizens' household registration migration, from the time of arrival at the place of migration, within three days in urban areas and ten days in rural areas, shall be reported to the household registration authority for migration registration by themselves or their household in charge of the migration documents, and the migration documents shall be cancelled. Citizens without migration documents shall apply for migration registration at the household registration authority in the place of migration with the following documents:
  (1) Veterans who have been demobilized, transferred to other professions, or discharged from military service shall present their identification documents issued by the county or city military service agency or the military agency at or above the regimental level;
  (2) Overseas Chinese and international students returning from abroad must present their passports or entry documents of the People's Republic of China;
