If an application for revocation of marriage is submitted to the people's court and it is determined by the court that the marriage should be revoked, the marriage certificates of both parties shall be confiscated and the effective judgment shall be sent to the local marriage registration authority.
2. If an application for revocation of marriage is submitted to the marriage registration authority, the following supporting documents shall be provided:
(1) My ID card and marriage certificate;
(2) A written application to dissolve the marriage;
(3) The certificate of abduction and rescue issued by the public security organs, or the judgment issued by the people's court that can prove that the party was coerced into marriage.
If the marriage registration authority finds through examination that the situation of forced marriage is true and does not involve child custody, property, or debt issues, the marriage shall be revoked and the marriage certificate shall be declared invalid.
