According to the Marriage Registration Management Regulations promulgated in 1994, the marriage registration management authority shall review the divorce application of the parties, and within one month from the date of acceptance of the application, if it meets the requirements, it shall be registered, issued a divorce certificate, and cancelled.
But this does not mean that the handling of divorce applications by the marriage registration authority can be generalized.
