1、 Mainland residents who apply for marriage registration shall provide the following documents and proof materials:

2、 Hong Kong residents, Macau residents, and Taiwan residents who apply for marriage registration shall provide the following documents and proof materials:

4、 Foreigners who apply for marriage registration shall present the following certificates and supporting materials:
(1) My valid passport or other valid international travel documents;
(2) A certificate issued by a notary public or authorized agency in the country of residence, authenticated by the Chinese embassy or consulate in that country, or authenticated by the Chinese embassy or consulate in China, stating that the individual has no spouse, or a certificate issued by the Chinese embassy or consulate in China stating that the individual has no spouse.
