Abstract: Marriage registration is a necessary legal procedure for men and women to get married. Once both parties complete the marriage registration and obtain the marriage certificate, their marriage is recognized by law, thus establishing the marital relationship.
Marriage registration authority
Marriage registration authorities are the sub-district offices or district people's governments in cities, or the people's governments of cities not divided into districts. In rural areas, they are the people's governments of townships, ethnic townships and towns. After the registration authority carefully examines the application of the parties, if it meets the legal conditions for marriage, it will grant registration and issue a marriage certificate. Otherwise, registration will not be granted. If a party does not agree with the decision of the registration authority, it has the right to request the superior competent authority to resolve the matter.
Marriage registration
The most important thing in getting married is registration. The specific procedures are as follows:
First of all, the parties applying for marriage must, with relevant certificates, jointly go to the marriage registration authority at the place of household registration of one of the man and the woman, fill out the "Marriage Registration Application Form" with a black ink pen, and pay the cost and service fee for the marriage certificate.
Secondly, upon receiving the application, the marriage registration authority examines item by item whether the parties meet the conditions for marriage. For instance, whether both parties have reached the legal age for marriage and whether they have committed bigamy, etc.
Finally, after review, if it complies with the provisions of the Civil Code, registration will be granted. You both need to be present at the same time, and then you can receive a big red marriage certificate.
Marriage registration is a necessary procedure for the validity of a marriage, and the wedding ceremony cannot be replaced. Premarital medical examination is not mandatory. It can only be conducted voluntarily by both parties. Premarital medical examination is not a necessary procedure for marriage registration. There is no mandatory requirement for premarital medical examination. It is determined through consultation between the two parties involved in the marriage. The government advocates premarital medical check-ups, which are beneficial to the parties involved.
